Not Me! Monday

It's baa-ack! With Stellan well on the road to recovery from his most recent bout with SVT, MckMama is reprising her weekly confessional, shrouding our embarrassment over our shortcuts by pretending we so did NOT do them!

This week, I did NOT sit down to piece together a baby book for my 4th son, using the tidbits I have shared here. NOT ME! I have always kept those little memory book at the ready, and have NEVER fallen EIGHT AND A HALF MONTHS behind!

I also did NOT spend Thursday afternoon at school in a workshop, wondering how in the world I am ever going to balance my professional life with my newly expanded motherhood. NOT ME! I am a pro...I am not at all concerned about giving my family short shrift.

Finally, I did NOT resist the pampering offered me by my five wonderful men yesterday. Really, I did NOT! I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast delivery, complete with flowers, the afternoon of cleaning NOT completed by me, and the Japanese steakhouse for dinner. And, no matter what you heard, we did NOT top that meal off with dessert at Friendly's! And we certainly did NOT allow Will and Jack to share a sundae built with 12 scoops of ice cream and 6 toppings. They did NOT polish this monstrosity off (where do they put it?), and I did not pine for my camera, wondering why I didn't bring it to capture this disgusting display of excess as well as the broccoli catching fun at dinner! NOT me! I am not at all addicted to documenting these waning moments of family fun while our oldest sons still enjoy being with us!
