Nick's Bringin' Sippy Back!
Due to nursing challenges caused by Nicholas's emerging new teeth, I introduced a sippy cup to him today full of expressed milk. Look who likes it!

Trading Spaces, Eat Your Heart Out!
While Jim was in Europe this past week (he had a trade show in Germany and the had his trip extended to include his new parent-company's home office in Milan), I made good use of my time and redecorated our bedroom and bathroom. I was going to do before and after pictures, but you'll just have to settle for the afters, since there was no way I was going to post evidence of how we had let clothing overrun our lives since I became pregnant. We'll just let that go, and focus on preserving the improved versions for cyber-posterity. Suffice it to say, that between my maternity clothes, my pre-maternity clothes, and Jim's recent weight loss, the Susan B. Komen Foundation received several bags from this household for its clothing drive! The upstairs is now almost finished, with the exception of the hallway and bedroom wallpaper--I mean, seriously, what was the previous owners' obsession with wallpaper??? It is now down in Gabe's and Nick's rooms, my bathroom, and the study. Still to go? Living room, dining room, foyer, upstairs hallway, stairway, kitchen, master bedroom, and downstairs bathroom. Wow, not even halfway done...but a big improvement nonetheless. Honestly, it is a wonder they didn't paper the ceilings!
Next step? Either the dining room or the downstairs bath...both are equally needy. Maybe I'll just camp out in the master suite...Or better yet, perhaps I can tag along on Jim's next trip?
