Not Me! Monday!

It's time to be brutally honest once again. Not Me! Monday was created by MckMama to afford us the opportunity to be brutally honest about our shortcomings while living to tell about it. Head on over to her site to see what everyone else has NOT been doing. But, first, revel in my imperfection!

This week I did NOT spend hours creating the perfect Club Penguin birthday cake (see pictures two posts earlier) only to have it implode in the refrigerator before the birthday boy got home from school, because I used SuperMoist cake mix. Nope! NOT me! I obviously have the culinary skills to know that a freshly-baked SuperMoist cake would NOT support the arctic figures, additional cupcake rocks, and jello lake involved in this creation. (I did NOT take pictures of the mess either...really I did NOT. My self-esteem could not handle the evidence mocking me, so we tossed it!)

I also did NOT spend all weekend in loungewear, either, after my sweet husband left for Anaheim Saturday morning...NOT me! (And I do not call pajamas "loungewear" if I am still in them after, say, 9 a.m.) And, no matter what you heard, I most certainly did NOT drive my eldest child to the high school at 8:15 Sunday morning to catch the bus for his wrestling tournament still in said pajamas "loungewear" with snow boots! NOT me! (And my son did NOT win third place in his weight class at this tournament...oh, wait a minute...yes he DID!!!)

Finally, my middle son and I did NOT explore Movies On Demand ad nauseum this weekend. C'mon, people, I have FOUR children! We definitely had too much housework to do to lose ourselves in bad movies for two days! I would NEVER blow off housework for a big bowl of popcorn and the remote control. NOT me!
