During the Not Me! Monday extravaganza, I met
MamaBear, who is launching her own
blog-to-book business. She has created this somewhat more productive blog carnival called,
Alphabitty Moments
. Once a week, I will be completing pages in a family alphabet book to help Nicholas learn his letters (later, obviously) and preserve some cherished family memories. Here is my first attempt:

I chose
alligator for
A, because Nicholas's nursery is decorated in a safari motif, and an alligator is a central character in his bedding. Coincidentally, a co-worker gave us this adorable robe and slipper set (he has long since outgrown the slippers). It has looked so cute hanging on the back of his bedroom door, and I realized with a pang of nostalgia that he is outgrowing it. Sigh. So, now it is forever preserved in his alphabet book! Thanks for the great idea MamaBear! Stop by
her site for directions to play along.
You captured the essence of my idea PERFECTLY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along and I can tell already you've got some bookmaking skills of your own.
How do you like Booksmart?
I do agree, what a cute robe.
ReplyDeleteThere are just a few things sweeter than a freshly bathed baby in a cozy towel or robe.
Thanks for the picture.

ReplyDeleteLove the robe! He's such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, my little one is only a few weeks older than him!
