Alphabitty Moments--Week 9

This week's Alphabitty Moment is brought to you by the letter I.
These photos were taken over Christmas vacation, when  Aunt Annie and Uncle Adam and Aunt Buddy and her boyfriend, Sharif, took the boys to D.C. for a weekend.  After seeing a Capitals game, all were inspired to try their hands feet at ice skating.  I especially love these pictures of our "new" Uncle Adam, who will officially join our family on August 15th, helping Gabe remain upright!  He is so patient, and all of our boys just adore him.  We are all so blessed that he is on our lives, especially Aunt Annie's.  We could not have dreamed up a better husband for her!  We love you, Adam!

Be sure to cruise on over to MamaBear's site to what amazing layouts my Alphabitty Friends have created this week!

  1. great pictures...my kids love ice skating... i never spend more than 2 seconds on my feel, but we have found a rink where they let deion go on in his wheelchair, they cordon off a little area and anyone who is confident can still skate in there with him, but smaller kids are safe...you'd be amazed at how many kids go in and hang on to his chair while he pulls them around laughing....brilliant...and a great way for him to make friends...

  2. Oh, that looks like fun!! We don't get many chances to ice skate here in Florida. I've only tried it once, and tha was on my honeymoon, and we were on the rink at Rockefeller Center in front of about 1000 people....GREAT idea!!

  6. We went skating last year but never got a chance this year. I had great intentions of clearing off the pond, but it was a COLD COLD winter.

I love the background you chose - I used it with green for my letter C and it's still one of my favorites.
